Ellen Federoff - Dean of Students, Sophomore Seminar, Paddling Coach
About Me Amanda Li Wilson teaches biology and is the college counselor at KCS. She got her undergraduate degree at the University of Southern California, where she created an interdisciplinary degree called "Childhood and ADHD". It investigated how education systems should address the needs of students' rather than the students addressing the needs of the education system. Next, together with her sister, she developed and executed an international science and cultural education project called Jungle to Jungle. From there, she earned her teaching certification from the University of Hawaii Manoa. She was always searching for a place that she could teach in a way that considers modern students’ unique culture and educational needs. Now, Mrs. Wilson is happy as can be working with KCS and providing a 21st century education to the island. KCS is the only place she has found that truly and continually strives to address the dynamic needs of Maui’s young people in this modern world.
